Year 7 Mathematics


In Year 7, you will study ways to present numerical data and issues associated with it. Other topics in the course include geometry of triangles and parallel lines, percentages, fractions and decimals, basic probability and graphing.
These topics will be introduced and explored with automated online quizzes, online lessons, investigations and project work.

What do you do?

You will be introduced to your studies working with online teachers. A wider variety of formats will be used to help you learn including investigations, audio visuals and fully interactive online lessons.
Along with written notes, automated quiz-style learning spaces will be used to practise and develop skills in preparation for working in projects with a real-world focus.
Remember that your teachers are always very happy to help you when required.

What skills do you develop?

You will develop, learn and apply numerous problem solving, ICT and communication skills. These skills will be based upon your current level of understanding in mathematics and will help you achieve your full potential.
