Year 10 Mathematics


In Year 10 Mathematics, you will be studying number skills, algebra skills, financial mathematics, algorithms, total surface area and volume. You will explore these topics through Mathletics, online quizzes, online lessons and real-word based projects.

What do you do?

You will undertake your studies through a range of online activities and quizzes. You will work with teachers and your classmates in online lessons that support your learning. You will develop written notes as you work through the course. Automated quiz-style learning spaces will be used to practise and build skills in preparation for working on projects with a real-world focus.

What skills do you develop?

You will develop the ability to use a variety of tools and resources to build your learning skills. You will learn the value of different approaches to mathematical study and problem solving. There is a variety of learning spaces within which you will work, that will provide you with an understanding of how you can measure your own understanding of new ideas.
