Year 10 Mathematics


In Year 10 Mathematics, you will be studying number skills, algebra skills, financial mathematics, algorithms, total surface area and volume.
You will explore these topics through Mathletics, online quizzes, differentiated online lessons and real-word based projects.

What do you do?

You will be undertake your studies working with teachers through online lessons and a range of online activities and quizzes. You and your classmates will also work alongside each other in tutorials that support your learning.
Along with written notes and journaling, automated quiz-style learning spaces will be used to practise and develop skills in preparation for working in projects with a real-world focus.

What skills do you develop?

You will develop the ability to use a variety of tools and resources to build your learning skills. You will learn the value of different approaches to mathematical study and problem solving. There is a variety of learning spaces within which you will work, that will provide you with an understanding of how you can measure your own understanding of new ideas.




While some study and project work will be done offline, you will need a reliable internet connection for successful completion of this course.
