The DECV is a state government school. All teaching positions are advertised through normal DE&T channels (Education Times & Sofweb).

Like all schools, we need Casual Relief Teachers from time to time when teachers are absent. Periodically, we advertise in The Age for CRTs and people interested in contract employment.

As we take enrolments throughout the year, we employ teachers throughout the year also. It is common for the DECV to employ teachers throughout Term 1 and to recruit more teachers in Semester 2 as students change VCE and year 9/10 electives.

The DECV is very different to most schools in our daily teaching environment and our teaching methods. Anyone who is interested in teaching at the DECV should contact Mark Kent , Assistant Principal.
